The 5 a day website guide –

These five simple steps are what we recommend to keep your Website fresh, healthy and ahead of your competitors!

Up-to-date design -

Whether you’re looking for ways to improve the look and feel of your site or wanting to undertake a completely new design, it’s best to have a good look around for inspiration. There is a wealth of design sources out there; one of our favourites is www.webdesignerwall.com. Of course FLAME:Media can help you from start to finish when it comes to design – just contact us!

Another useful tool is: http://browsershots.org. This site will generate images of what your site looks like in different browsers, helping you to ensure that everyone who visits your site can use it.

eMail Marketing -

This can be a great way to reach clients old and new. If you often have new services or products that you think your previous clients could do with hearing about, then you need to start thinking about eMail marketing. We can help you put together tailored campaigns in terms of both design and content.

Check your stats!

If you don’t already have Website statistics to help you understand how it performs, then it’s time to start thinking about it.

We suggest Google Analytics. This free online tool can provide a tremendous amount of help and insight when you want to understand the visitors to your site, how they find it, and their behaviour while on your site. If you don’t know how to set it up yourself then contact your Web developer who should be able to oblige - or give us a call!  Of course, all Websites we build have statistics built in.

Offline –

It’s very important that all your marketing materials, both online and offline, present the same corporate image through consistent design themes. A consistent presentation will help to convey your professionalism and trustworthiness to your customers.

We at FLAME:Media can provide all your design needs for both on- and offline branding.

Update your content –

Google Analytics is a brilliant tool:  use it to decipher which keywords are successful, which pages visitors seem to like and which bits are less effective.  Apply what you learn to improve the content of your site.

It’s important to keep your content really up to date with relevant information. This will not only help people find your site but will help any Web visitors to understand what you are all about and decide whether to contact you.
